H2R is a 1.82 mile\, 11 turn asphalt road course with more than 150 feet of elevation change and a variety of corners including increasing and decreasing corners of both high and lower speeds. The track is located northeast of San Marcos\, TX\, 26 miles from downtown Austin and 55 miles from San Antonio. \nThe Event is a 3 hour MINI performance driving course on Saturday\, Nov. 23 from 2:00pm-5:00pm.\nParticipants will be divided into two groups (novice & intermediate) with classroom orientation\, individual ride-along instruction\, and rotating 20 minutes track time sessions (projected at least one hour of track time).\nThis Event is geared for enthusiasts in MINI street cars. This is NOT a race event. Emphasis is street cars on a track. Helmets are required\, but are track provided. \nCost of the Event is $95 per driver. On Saturday\, the host club sponsors a Halloween party where everyone dresses the part and has a blast with a party DJ. The event also features an autocross / driving school to hone or develop your driving skills.
